Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use Foris. You confirm you are 18+ when you sign up. Foris is for personal, non-commercial use, and you may maintain only one account.

You're responsible for the accuracy of your profile and for keeping your login secure. Provide real information and your own photos. Don't impersonate anyone or misrepresent your age or identity.

You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, or harm other members;
• post unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or deceptive content;
• solicit money, advertise, or use Foris for commercial purposes;
• share others' private information without consent; or
• create fake profiles or use the service if under 18.

You can report or block any member in the app. We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms — including automatic suspension after repeated reports or no-shows.

Foris helps you arrange real-world, outdoor dates. We do not conduct criminal background checks on members and are not responsible for the conduct of any user, online or offline. You meet other people at your own risk. Always meet in public, tell a friend your plans, arrange your own transportation, and trust your instincts. Follow the safety guidance in the app.

You keep ownership of the photos and content you post. You grant Foris a limited license to host and display that content as needed to operate the service. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.

Foris may offer optional paid features (for example, an extra match shuffle or extending a chat). Prices are shown before you pay and are processed by Stripe. Because these are digital items delivered immediately, purchases are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

You can stop using Foris and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the community.

Foris is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Foris and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the acts of other users. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these Terms; we'll revise the “Last updated” date and notify you of material changes in the app. Questions? Email namanson@usc.edu.
